You may be making some mistakes and not even realizing it. Check out
some of these weight loss diet mistakes and find out whether your
eating habits are affecting your efforts to lose weight.
Mistakes:
1. Skipping Breakfast
If you skip breakfast, you are setting yourself up to overeat all
day. A decent breakfast, such as a serving of oatmeal, some egg
whites, and a serving of fruit, jump starts your metabolism and
prevents you from stuffing yourself at lunch.
2. You don’t drink enough Water
Water is so important to a healthy body. Try to drink at least 6-8
cups a day
3. You eat low fat snacks
Low fat doesn’t mean low calorie. Watch the calories of these snacks
and also avoid the snacks that contain trans fats
4. You eat only 3 meals a day
While this may work for some people, actually eating 5-6 times a day
not only keeps your metabolism in high gear but levels out your
blood sugar.
5. you don’t eat carbs (carbohydrates)
Let’s face it, carbohydrates are your body’s main fuel source for
energy and you should incorporate fruit, vegetables, and whole
grains in your diet. Avoid processed carbohydrates like cookies,
crackers, etc
